Who we are
San Jose Appliance Care (sanjoseappliancecare.com) is operated by {{TODO: operator legal name}}. It is a free referral service for appliance repair in San Jose and nearby cities. It is not an appliance repair company.
Who performs the work
When you call or send a message, you are connected with an independent repair business. That business is not owned, employed, supervised or controlled by San Jose Appliance Care. It sets its own prices, schedules its own visits, gives its own estimates and warranties, and is solely responsible for the work it performs.
San Jose Appliance Care does not hold an Electronic and Appliance Repair Dealer registration, a contractor license or insurance for repair work, because it does not repair appliances. Any registration, license, insurance or factory authorization belongs to the repair business, and you should confirm it with them.
How we are paid
We are paid by repair companies and call networks for calls we connect to them. You are not charged by us. Because we are paid per connected call, a connection is not an independent ranking or an endorsement of one company over others, and you are free to compare quotes from anyone.
What we do not verify
Unless a page says otherwise, we do not independently verify a repair company's registration, insurance, factory authorization, pricing, availability or quality of work. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a price, an arrival time or a result.
How to check a repair company
Look the business up on the Bureau of Household Goods and Services license search using its registered name or number. Under Business and Professions Code section 9844, a registered service dealer must give you a written estimate before repairing and cannot charge more than the estimate without your consent. Keep the estimate and the invoice.

Cost figures are national ranges from published sources, not quotes. Unplug the appliance or shut off its gas before looking inside it, and leave gas, sealed-system and high-voltage work to a qualified technician.
