What we collect
- When you call: your phone number, the time and length of the call, and, where the call is recorded, what is said. Calls are handled by a call-routing provider.
- When you use the form: name, phone, email (optional), ZIP code, appliance, brand, message and preferred contact time.
- When you browse: basic technical data your browser sends (such as IP address and device type) in server logs, and, only if you accept analytics cookies, usage data such as pages viewed.
How we use it
To connect you with a repair business that covers your area, to follow up on your request, to confirm that a connection took place for billing between us and the repair business or call network, to keep the site secure, and, with consent, to understand which pages help people.
Who we share it with
The repair business you're connected with (so it can contact and help you), the call network that routes the call, and service providers who host the site or process form submissions for us. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of any sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To make a request, email help@sanjoseappliancecare.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
Retention
We keep call and form records only as long as needed for the purposes above and for billing and legal records, then delete them.
Cookies
The site uses two kinds of storage:
- Essential: a small value stored in your browser that remembers your cookie choice. It's needed for the banner to work and contains no personal details.
- Analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics cookies, which measure visits and page views. They are not loaded at all unless you click Accept.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or by clearing site data in your browser. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of analytics cookies.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
